Paul’s standard in 1 Timothy 3:7 - “he must have a good reputation with those outside the church.” Wilson did not blame the victims in either case, and he condemned both men from the ministry because they did not meet St. The subject is evident - the two sex scandals that buried televangelists Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker.
